We are seeking an experienced archivist specialized in cataloging cultural heritage assets, with a background in managing and acquiring historical documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be dedicated to archival metadataing, and possess skills in using tools and programs for digital image post-production.
Responsibilities:Perform archival metadataing, describing and organizing digitized documents according to archival standards to ensure proper identification, searchability, and preservation.Handle digital image post-production, including quality control, rotation, and cropping to ensure optimal presentation and usability.Normalize and prepare digital materials by correcting colors, balancing whites, adjusting resolution, and performing other necessary operations to ensure uniformity for archiving or publication.Maintain good computer skills.Proficient in photo post-production software.Ability to work effectively within a team.Immediate availability.Contract Details:Type: Fixed-term, full-time contract
