We are seeking an experienced archivist specialized in cultural heritage cataloging with expertise in managing and acquiring historical documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, focusing on archival metadata and possess skills in digital image post-production tools and software.
Responsibilities:Perform archival metadata description and organization of digitized documents according to archival standards to ensure proper identification, searchability, and preservation.Handle digital image post-production, including quality control, rotation, cropping, and ensuring optimal presentation and usability.Normalize and prepare digital materials by correcting colors, white balance, resolution, and other necessary adjustments for uniformity and readiness for archiving or publication.Maintain good computer skills and proficiency in photographic post-production software.Collaborate effectively within a team environment.Immediate availability is required.Contract Details:Type: Fixed-term, full-time contract
