GSS provides shared services to the Group companies having the Head Office in Italy and 5 branches in other European countries with a total staff of round people The Business Continuity Management is a Unit with the responsibility of ensuring the execution of analyses and supporting proactive implementation of resilience against disruption, interruption or loss of productivity or services. The Unit is responsible for planning, preparing and carrying out a set of activities aimed at ensuring that an organization's critical business functions and the supporting technology infrastructure continue to operate in the event of disaster. The Business Continuity Specialist will be responsible for conducting security analysis; definition and implementation of strategies for business continuity plans preparing companies for the event of blackouts or disasters in which company-s information could be lost. The BC Analyst will examine potential risks and losses, design, test and implement recovery plans by the: Execution and maintenance of Preliminary Business Impact Analysis and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Support to Risk Impact Analysis (RIA) execution and collection of relative results Definition and maintenance of BCM strategy and BC Plan Definition, Planning and Coordination of BC tests Definition and execution of the “Maintenance & Review” Program Definition and maintenance of the “Training & Awareness” Program Definition and maintenance of DR Team Management of BC/DR documentation repository Collection of BIA Reports from all Customers Documentation on DR scenarios and strategies Definition and maintenance of Recovery Procedures Drafting and maintenance of GSS DR Plan and DR issue log Definition of DR Test Program (Calendar) Coordination of DR Tests Management of DR Tests follow-up activities and open issues Support to “Training & Awareness” Program Reporting The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Degree in computer science and/or several years of IT professional experience. Fluent English (at least CEFR B2, written/spoken) Deep knowledge of BCM and DR Certifications in ISO22301 or any released by Business Continuity Institute (BCI) are appreciated At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the Security Projects area (BC or DR projects) Knowledge of any BCM software will be appreciated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills proved in an international environment Relations management and conflict management skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and as a part of a team Problem solving skills Proactivity Proven technical knowledge in the field of managing project initiatives will be an asset Availability to travel (mostly Europe)
