As Business Development Manager for Intelligent Tire Solutions (ITS) Smart & Connected markets, you will have responsibility to create long term relationships with the customers in this market-space at different levels of the organization, you explore and scout for new opportunities for Intelligent Tire Solutions and develop relationships that create insight into advanced customer development in order to position Sensata for successful RFQ results whereby creating maximum value for Sensata and the customer. The scope of this Function may be expanded beyond ITS and Smart & Connected into further new growth-area’s for Sensata. - General Responsibilities Develop and maintain customer relationships into different levels at Purchasing, Engineering and Quality departments Defines and owns the global customer account strategy for selected customers in the Intelligent Tire Solutions space Represent Sensata in (management) meetings with clients Reports progress to internal management Controls pipeline development Drives innovation and creating value-propositions Price negotiation Identify opportunities and positions Sensata for successful RFQ results Develop access to new market-channels and parties that support access to growth in the Intelligent Tire Solutions market-space Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service Experience / Qualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree level in Engineering/technical business administration Minimum 5-10 years sales experience in the automotive market Profound understanding of the automotive industry, Tire Pressure Monitoring and ideally existing network in this market-space Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Finds opportunities to create value for the customer and Sensata Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers - - Smarter Together Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing.
