An exciting opportunity has opened-up for an E-commerce Key Account Manager in the Italian Consumer Team. Reporting to the Sales Director this role offers the successful candidate significant development opportunities, operating in a multifunctional environment and being accountable for supporting the development and execution of key innovation as well as leading KC’s category share growth opportunities within a customer/channel.
Oversee eCommerce strategy to ensure we are hitting maximum potential and maintain our competitive advantage.
Explore, identify and pursue K-C’s category share growth opportunities within e commerce channel.
Identify Key Customers from the stand point of strategic growth opportunities, generate and propose special joint business development programs for such a Customers.
To reach and exceed sales targets for each client via managing perfect execution of a Customer plan.
Implement agreed Customer Management strategy.
To compile the best possible Customer Plan based on identified growth opportunities for each category actively involving Digital marketing, Digital shelf and Distributor management teams, securing long term profitable business
Leading negotiations with the Customers actively involving all functions when necessary.
Ensure of K-C brands presence within the customers drives highest conversion and call for purchase.
Work closely with Marketing & digital teams to design and implement effective digital assets that drive consumer purchases
Control execution by Customer of reached agreements (digital shelf placement, number of SKUs listed, activities, leads, etc.)
Monitor product-ordering process to ensure stock availability at all times, take proactive measures in case risk of OOS appears.
Monitor execution of pricing strategy within customer/channel.
Coordinate paper turnover and payment process between Customer and K-C.
Monitor competition activities/actions, come up with counteracting proposals, approve and implement them.
Complete all administration and reports within guidelines and on time.
Key Competencies / Skills
A strong, consistent performer, 4-5 years of relevant work experience (preferably in e-Commerce) in FMCG companies.
Ideally a degree in business or marketing-related subjects
P&L understanding with finance & commercial acumen
Strategic thinking and understanding how digital marketing impacts sales KPI’s
Familiar with onsite media
Familiar with Amazon Vendor Central or similar E-Commerce Vendor-directed platforms.
Basic understanding of SEO or other methods to maximize the number of searches thereby driving sales volume in an E-Commerce environment
Strong presentation skills and experience
Project management/co-ordination skills
A proven track record of making things happen and delivering business results in current / previous roles
Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with a variety of cross functional stakeholders
Outstanding interpersonal / collaborative skills
Comfortable working in a high pressured environment
Excellent analytical skills
Strong numerical and verbal reasoning ability
The role won’t be necessarily fully based in the office, but we can consider smartworking solutions ideally in Piedmont and Lombardy (home office).
