Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

support the head of People & Culture in China to manage the overall project portfolio to contribute to the quality of planning and implementation in line with global guidance and business needs

contribute to the strategic development of the product portfolio in the area of People & Culture as sparring partner and provide expertise consultancy on a diverse set of strategic HR initiatives

Lead the deployment of global projects in the areas of HR Strategy & Analytics as well as People & Culture to ensure the alignment of activities and adherence in set strategies in APAC and China

Lead the country projects in the areas of People & Culture to ensure the deployment of HR strategy in China

Socialize and partner with all stakeholders to ensure one structured and agile change process in place for all assigned projects

Enable HR BPs in the course of project management and provide ad-hoc consultancy where necessary

Manage the strategic relations with internal and external partners and source for future context to business success in terms of organization and people;
Play an active role as a member of HR Strategy & Analytics team and People & Culture team to the success of our strategic roadmap and take the lead of additional assigned topics if any.

Bachelor degree or above in HR or business studies or equivalent disciplines;
Min. 8 years of HR work experience with proven track record in project management, expertise in organization and people development preferred, experience in HRBP role a plus;
Fluent and comprehensive in both written and verbal language skill – English and Mandarin;
Passion for organization and people with the capability to translate it into value-creating solutions;
Presence in stakeholder management and ability to lead without authority
Able to operate at both a strategic and operational level and drive for results in one multicultural environment;
Excellent in consulting and facilitation skills and competence in managing complexity and resource;
Self-development and Embrace life-long learning
• Academic studies of economics (e.g.) especially with the main, focus on Human Resources
• Several years of commercial practice and work experience within, the HR Community and within project Management
• Detailed knowledge of the global organizational structures of the, Covestro Group
• English language should be fluent in spoken and written
