Project Development Director - Renewables

Opportunity for a senior level project development professional to join a leading solar company as Project Development Director/ Country Head.
Key Responsibilities: – Invest and develop potential greenfield project opportunities for solar and BESS projects.
– Negotiate and build lasting relationships with landowners, investors and local authorities for lease or land acquisition – Team management and business strategy making – Ensure the success for the complete project development lifecycle – Be the face of the organisation in Italy, providing expertise on the renewable energy space Project Development Director – You: – over 7- 8 years' project development experience within the renewable energy industry – Strong track record of spotting areas for new projects; securing new business across detailed sales cycles – Ability to communicate at all levels – Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive in approach to sales and project development
