Role Description and PurposeOracle’sRetail Consulting/ eCommerce group is looking for an experienced and dynamic ProjectManager to work as part of a team to Project manages the implementations of oursolutions.
Youwill be responsible for managing multiple and/or large, complex projects andassociated customer relationships.
You will provide leadership onplanning, staffing, and executing Oracle Commerce related activities associatedwith Oracle Commerce Consulting engagements.
You will work in conjunctionwith Consulting Sales Representatives, Practice Directors, Client Partners,Resource Management, and other Team Leaders and will provides guidance onengagement estimation and scoping, triage, risk assessment, and resourceassignment.
You will oversee consultants,Technical leads and Architects in the field of Oracle Commerce delivery,ensuring quality of project deliverables, and acting as liaison to customerleadership on the project team.
You will operate under minimalsupervision and demonstrates proactive work habits when overseeing theactivities of Consultants in EMEA. Youwill achieve results through strong subject matter expertise, leadership,collaboration, and teamwork. The abilityto communicate effectively with team members and others within the customerorganization is a must.
You will often coach other customer or partner personnel onbest practices and technical issues and are expected to be capable ofdelivering a tailored message to C-level customer or partner executives asrequired.
Qualifications:The eCommerce Project Managerwill be responsible for control of critical client-based projects, clientliaison, including pre-sales, analysis, cross functional development andsystems integration projects for Oracle. The PM owns the solution delivery andis ultimately responsible for the delivery of the development, projectleadership, management, quality, and timely delivery of the project.
Should have relevant technical experience ofthe types of products being used: eCommerce or Cloud based commerceapplications.
Experience managing the deliveryof internet scale Web Commerce implementations e.g. Oracle Commerce, OracleCommerce Cloud, Sap (Hybris), IBM WebSphere Commerce, Salesforce Commerce(Demandware), Digital River, Magento Commerce, Netsuite, Elastic Path etc., orexperience managing cloud solutions implementations
System integration delivery experience (particularly with ERP, inventory, payment gateways, product rating and recommendations, invoicing, etc.)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team.
Familiarity of project delivery methodologies (other than SDLC) is essential
Experience Working in various SDLC methodologies (waterfall, Agile, OUM, Scrum, etc) is desirable
Experience of working with System Integrators (SI’s), professional services organisation is desirable
Business case creation (NPV, ROI) is desirable
Familiarity with business processes, organizational assessment, etc. (supporting non-SDLC projects) is desirable
Ability to write and deliver documents to internal and external clients
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer-facing skills at all levels of a customer organization
Solid presentation skills, great at developing rapport with customers and partners
Ability to participate in Sales-pursuit meetings and provide delivery management commentary
Ability to Recognize new business opportunities in already existing account base is desirable
Experience presenting to/facilitating meetings and group discussions
Understanding of eCommerce/ Retail eco-system, verticals and online business principles is desirable
Must have the ability to develop excellent rapport with upper level management
Proficiency with project-based tools such as Word, Excel, Project, as well as others (e.g., wikis, bug tracking, etc.).
Additional InformationAvailability to travel is required, subject to project needs (usually 20 – 40% of the time).
