About the location: Iconic elegance in Milan's most fashionable neighbourhood. A 15th-century convent turned sophisticated garden retreat, Four Seasons Hotel Milano is a haven in the centre of Milan's Fashion District.
About the role: We currently have an opportunity for a passionate and energetic Sales Executive Middle East to join our iconic hotel in Milano.
What you will do: Co-ordinate all arrangements in regards to groups and transient bookings from Middle East.Assist the Senior Director of Sales and the Sales Managers with site inspections, proposals and other administrative tasks of the department.Work in synergy with the Sales Managers, the Senior Director of Sales, the Reservations, Front of House and Guest Relations Team.Collaborate with the appropriate Department regarding rooming lists, special arrangements, and any F&B requirements related to groups, events and transient bookings.Verify prior to arrival that all involved departments have the most updated information in regards to group, event and VIP clients.Assist the Senior Director of Sales and the Sales Managers in daily communication with agencies and clients.Welcome hotel guests and respond to a wide variety of guest requests, ensuring service excellence.Understand and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera).Keep Golden Sales & Catering and Opera constantly up to date.Assist the sales team with reporting tasks.Update on a regular basis preferred partners websites and provide collateral to travel trade partners.Assist with planning sales trips, presentations and activities.Conduct tours of the property with potential clients.Respond to telephone calls and walk-in inquiries regarding rooms and events space.Act as the liaison for all vendor/supplier related clients' needs.Attend events to ensure impeccable execution and synergy between guests, hotel services and vendors.Maintain a friendly, caring and helpful attitude with clients and hotel personnel.Assist on special projects aiming to increase demand, productivity and profit.Participate in sales meetings and marketing meetings as required.Cooperate with the Accounting department regarding client account instructions.Carry out other tasks or projects assigned by the Director of Sales.What you bring: Excellent Italian, English and Arabic communication skills (verbal and written).Positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills.Luxury hotel Sales experience preferred (minimum of 2 years) or 2 – 3 years' operational hotel experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.Knowledge of Golden and Opera is preferred.What we offer: Competitive Salary and a comprehensive benefits package.Excellent Training and Development opportunities.Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms.Meals available at our Employee Restaurant.Employee Experience initiatives and Recognition Programs.Opportunities to build a successful career with global potential.Schedule & Hours: This position will be based at Four Seasons Hotel Milan and will report to our Senior Director of Sales.
