I am currently recruiting for a Technical Lead-Trading Applications Support (Fluent Italian and English speaking) to work in Milan, Italy . I am currently looking for a Technical Lead-Trading Applications Support to work, at least, 12 months (extendible) in Milan, Italy. Responsibilities for the Technical Lead- Trading Applications Support role: Take responsibility and ownership for ensuring 100% availability of all trading application systems, resolution of issues/incidents and service requests, swiftly and effectively, and adherence to standard SLAs as defined for the support Understand the business implications of incidents and requests, prioritize issues and requests based on criticality and urgency Communicate confidently and effectively with business users, build rapport with the end-users, and improve the credibility and value of the team in the eyes of the users. Own and develop a relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration Manage incident prioritization and assignment, task allocation, helping the team in issue resolution by coordinating with other internal and external teams, managing team working hours and shift planning Provide hands-on support to the team in resolving issues as required Take responsibility for the production of elaborated reports and statistics based on platform databases information, aggregating them in structured KPIs, useful to provide consistent support to customers and addressing all TCS internal reporting requirements Ensure proper documents, like system documentation, SOPs, KeDBs, for all system processes are maintained properly and regularly updated Provide help and support for integration of new team members and coordinate and ensure proper training and hand over of activities Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the customer/product team Communicate key insights and findings, constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer, define reporting and alerting requirements Skills required for the Technical Lead- Trading Applications Support role: 5-10 years' experience in market connectivity and trading applications Strong experience in supporting Equity Derivatives business: clear understanding of how an IT issue could impact the business with special focus on the legal requirement Expert-level knowledge of one or more of the following trading platforms - ULLink, ION, ORC, FT_TSS, iQbonds Knowledge of "Capital Markets" area and main financial products (Equity, Derivatives, Fixed Income) Basic knowledge of markets connectivity and networking issues Good troubleshooting skills over a complex environment Knowledge of incident, change and issue management life cycle Ability to manage projects with the team across multiple locations Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines, proactive and logical approach to problem-solving and results-oriented. Language: English (fluent), Italian (fluent) as mandatory Organization of work acting in a methodical and pragmatic way Key Technical skills required for the Technical Lead-Trading Applications Support role: Unix/Linux Solaris S.O. IBM Informix DB, Oracle and SQL server RedHat cluster suite Scripting Language (bash, sh, lua, python, Perl) PL/SQL queries HP Service Manager understanding of Java and other program languages logs Shortlisting immediately - phone interview this week. The gross hourly rate is €180/€220 per day, depending on the experience.
