OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a committed and passionate Trade Marketing & Customer Development Specialist to help drive and further grow our business across Italy in addition to the already well-established biscuits business.
Reporting to the Country Manager, primary focus of the role will be to drive the relationship with our newly on-boarded distributor in charge to launch new product ranges in GDO. The project to cooperate has just started, so this role offers the chance to have a real influence in the setup as in a proper start-up.
In addition, the TM&CD Specialist will be responsible for financials and supply chain of the already existing biscuits business, supporting the Country Manager in the relationship with current distributor (a leading company in the food industry).
To summarize, it’s a business development role in a start-up context at local level, with a wide range of activities that also include general aspects of marketing, supply chain, logistics, legal, credit control & finance.
To be underlined the global extension of the company and the opportunity to look for international assignments in a second career step.
RESPONSABILITY
Build a Route to Market (RTM) for new product categories and effectively develop third party distributor business partnerships
Maximize the potential of new categories by creating and implementing marketing and commercial strategies in cooperation with the Country Manager and central Marketing
Drive category management through Nielsen data and market researches, in cooperation with the distributor and with support of the regional marketing.
Provide distributors and retailers with convincing arguments about business plans and drive the implementation
Ensure that sales and marketing strategies deliver the short and long term P&L targets, take corrective action when and where necessary, avoid overspend through a strict investment monitoring
Manage financial and administrative workflow with current distributor of biscuits range and several vendors (payments, invoicing, overdues, etc.)
Take care of demand planning and service level in cooperation with central Customer Service
Undertake ad hoc projects with local and/or international scope to enhance long-term performance of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
1/2 years working experience in a FMCG Company or in a Consulting Firm
Ideally business analysis and/or business development working experiences
Demand planning and customer service experiences will be a plus
Attitude to work with numbers, mastery of Excel and Power Point. Basic knowledge of SAP and/or JDE will be a plus.
University qualification with an international experience (eg.: Erasmus)
English knowledge at C1 level
