An added value would be experience in climate and ocean science applications.Advanced knowledge in scientific Python programming.Experience with well-known tools and software libraries for DS, ML and DL (e.G., numpy, pandas, xarray, scikit-learn, matplotlib etc.).Experience with at least one DL framework (e.G., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.).Knowledge of HPC and distributed environments, as well as training massive DL models with such environments.Ability to work both independently and in a team.Good knowledge of the English language.ADDITIONAL SKILLS:Strong problem-solving attitudeHigh motivation to learnExperience in managing NetCDF and ZARR data.Contributing to scientific paper production.DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITSPlease note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.The Developers will be based inLecceCMCC office.The appointment period will be initially of n°12-24 months starting fromJune 2024, renewable forn°12 monthsadditionalmonths pending a positive evaluation.
