Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in self-contained classrooms across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' unique learning needs, strengths, and goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid teaching license in Special Education (Illinois certification required). Prior experience working with students with disabilities in a school or educational setting. Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices in instruction, assessment, and behavior management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
