[4X] Small Satellite Systems Engineer

DUTIES The Systems Engineer is responsible for satellite architecture, design, development, and qualification of small satellites.
System Engineer activities include, but are not limited to:
Technical responsibility for system-level activitiesDay-to-day coordination with the Program Manager, Unit Heads, and Subsystem System EngineersGeneration of the system engineering plan, design and development plan, and verification planDefinition and management of technical requirements and specificationsSupporting the definition of mission and operations deadlinesManagement of system budgetsLead the preparation of technical documentation for reviews with the customers, subcontractors, and suppliersReview of technical documentation related to the system and subsystemsSupport AIT, AIV, and qualification activitiesSupport for NRB, CCB, and PCBSupport for risk assessmentGENERAL REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering5-10 years of work experience in similar rolesHigh flexibility and team-working capabilityHands-on and proactive approachAbility to work with tight schedulesAbility to coordinate a multidisciplinary and international teamAbility to run analysis and reportsVery good knowledge of Italian and English languagesREQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS Previous experience in design, development and qualification of satellites with similar dutiesDemonstrate a good understanding of satellite architecture and designExperience in management of industrial activities including reviews.Experienced knowledge of aerospace systems applicable standards, such as ECSS, MIL, NASA STDExperienced knowledge of the NASA STDExperienced Knowledge of DOORS or similarExperienced knowledge of orbital dynamics and analyses with STK or similarADDITIONAL ASSETS Knowledge of the Ground Segment utilizationFrequency and spectrum managementKnowledge of real-time/near real-time navigationThis announcement is aimed at both sexes, under laws 903/77 and 125/91, and to people of all ages and all nationalities, under legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
