Accounting Manager

Our employees are uniquely talented and passionate about our mission to create world-class, data-driven products.About You Peak Ventures is looking for a hands-on accounting leader to own all accounting activities. The right candidate has appropriate operational experience and a customer orientation while getting things done. You spend your time working with people across the company and with external parties including customers, vendors and accounting service providers. A successful candidate will be able to operate independently while achieving timelines and target results.Responsibilities Own the general accounting function including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and taxesMaintain a detailed daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow and ensure timely cash collections and vendor paymentsEnsure excellent new employee onboarding and timely and accurate payrollPrepare monthly financial statements with summary for managementSupport third-party tax preparation firm for on-time filingsPerform ad hoc analysis and projects as requestedAssess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvementsExperience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting experienceOwnership mentality and proven ability to get things done without dedicated resources or oversightExcellent verbal and written communication abilities across an organization and with outside partiesCustomer service orientation with positive attitudeThorough knowledge of U.S. GAAPAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systemsApply Send us an email at ****** , tell us a bit about yourself, and include your resume / LinkedIn.
