Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 16 yrs. U.S. Army experience, or High School diploma and 20 years U.S. Army experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Successful completion of MEL 4 (CGSC/ILE) or successful completion of US Army SGM Academy or Senior Warrant Officer Course is also acceptable.At least two years recent, relevant experience providing Logistical / Sustainment Support to US Forces located on the African Continent.U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.Must be able to maintain US Army Health / Medical clearance for travel to the African Continent.Preferred Qualifications:20+ years' experience as a US Army senior logistician (LTC-COL, SGM, or CW4/CW5).Active TS-SCI security clearance.Graduate of US Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Army Logistics Team Manager to become part of Peratons' US Army Southern European Task Force – Africa (SETAF-AF) Strategic Mission Support (SMS) program, which works to serve and protect US Army forces operating and training in Africa.Location: Vicenza, Italy.The Army Logistics Team Manager provides leadership and guidance to members of the Peraton SMS contract team supporting the SETAF-AF G4 Directorate.In this role, you will:Support SETAF-AF G4 leadership in logistics planning, exercise planning, and sustainment information management in support of SETAF-AF's designated Lines of Effort (LOEs) and the SETAF-AF Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).This position requires 25% travel, often to austere locations on the African Continent.Provide leadership and guidance to Peraton SMS team members, along with advice and recommendations to our SETAF-AF G4 Directorate customers.Leverage your experience to assist the SETAF-AF G4 in logistics planning, sustainment information management, and acquisition planning ISO SETAF-AF's Campaign Plan, Annual Order, and Annual Training Guidance documents.Provide professional continuity for the SETAF-AF G4 in multiple sustainment areas of expertise to help mitigate the frequent rotation of U.S. Military personnel and DA Civilians.Identify and support logistics and sustainment related tasks, and elements of information in support G4 equities for both SETAF-AF Strategic Exercises and Real-World Crisis Action Response planning efforts.Assist in the development of deliberate and accurate Logistics Concepts of Support; ensure all elements of logistical information remain updated and current.Assist G4 personnel in the preparation for and participate in weekly SETAF-AF B2C2WG.Attend designated conferences, planning events, exercises, and activities in support of the SETAF-AF G4 Directorate.Provide professional advice and support by utilizing their technical knowledge to streamline complex processes into simplified procedures while adhering to DoD laws, policies, and regulations.Perform other duties as required to ensure professional, responsive, and flexible support to our SETAF-AF customer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
