Associate Commercial Counsel will focus primarily on drafting reviewing, and negotiating contracts as both a buyer and a seller. You will work closely with departments across the company, with an emphasis on the sales team.
What You Will Do Draft, review and negotiate vendor, customer, sales and partner agreements and templates Provide legal counsel regarding contractual rights and contract issues Develop and maintain digital contract repositories Work closely with other members of the legal team to ensure a smooth contracting process Provide practical legal support across the company for other matters as needed Work with the legal team to create, update and maintain policies, processes and procedures to increase team efficiency and compliance Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant developments to the law and the industry ensure an ongoing ability to provide accurate legal advice What You Will Need JD degree from an accredited law school and current member in good standing with a US state bar Two to four years of reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts at a law firm and/or an in-house legal team Knowledge of current contract law, and related legal principles and procedures. Strong understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality Outstanding organizational skills, including ability to prioritize, delegate and multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas Proven judgement and analytical skills Ability to anticipate legal issues or risks Working knowledge of Office, JIRA and contract management systems. What We Offer The base salary range for this position is $140K to $150K. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
