Some international travel will be required (mainly USA and Europe) – up to 10% per annum, including overnight stays.We look forward to receiving your application in English.What will you do?Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with a balance of risk mitigation and business-orientation, supporting Thermo Fisher's Digital and Technology business initiatives across Customer Enablement (eCommerce)Serve a product counseling role for digital properties (web, apps, etc.), digitally integrated equipment (IoT), product integrations as an initial point of contact for various business teamsSupport legal tools, program governance and processes to improve legal service delivery and develop new legal processes, approaches, templates, playbooks to drive efficiencyDevelop and delivers appropriate legal trainings to business and legal team membersWorks across the Thermo Fisher Legal team including Division commercial attorneys, regional attorneys, Corporate subject matter experts including HR, IP, and Data Privacy & Compliance, Litigation and Regulatory professionalsParticipates in due diligence and other activities relating to M&A and integration activitiesManages the work of outside counsel from time to timeWho we are looking for:Law degree required. Admission to a state bar or international equivalent required.5-6 years of demonstrated ability in commercial contracts including 2-3 years in technology/digital-focused commercial contracts and product counseling.
