The Biostatistics group is a valued partner in development strategy and execution, from clinical study design up to submission and approval.Main responsibilities:As an Associate Statistical Project Leader in the I&I Biostatistics team, you will lead one or several late phase studies, or lead an indication for a complex compound, under supervision of statistical project leader and/or team leader. You will be supported by a Biostatistics Group that fosters people development, offering compelling career opportunities that value diversity of thought and abilities, to optimize overall success and have a meaningful impact on patients' lives.Main job responsibilities:Provide high quality input into the design of the clinical study, the setup and conduct of the studyAccountable for all statistical deliverables related to the study. Oversee execution of the statistical analyses according to the statistical analysis plan: perform and/or coordinate with study programmer the production of statistical analysesPrepare statistical methods & provide statistical insight into interpretation and discussion of results sections for the clinical study report and/or publications to ensure the statistical integrity of the content according to internal standards and regulatory guidelinesPropose, prepare and perform exploratory data analyses, ad-hoc analyses as relevant for the study or project objectivesProvide technical guidance to junior staffPlan and track study activities and timelinesEnsure productive collaborations with other functions in the aligned study team, promoting teamwork, operational efficiency, and innovationRepresent statistics to participate in scientific or technology working groups or cross function initiativesAbout youEducation and Experience: PhD/MS in statistics or related discipline with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including late phaseTechnical skills: Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques; able to do advanced statistical analyses using SAS or RSoft skills: Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skillsMain Languages: EnglishPursue progress, discover extraordinaryBetter is out there.
