Athletics Marketing Internship runs from August 1 – May 31. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee, plan and implement select fall, winter and spring sport marketing plansSchedule game day elements that include but are not limited to anthem performers, halftime and time out performers, and color guardAssist with game day operational responsibilities at all football, men's basketball, women's basketball and other assigned gamesCreate and facilitate a digital marketing plan including development of email databases and social media graphicsOversee and schedule the game day student volunteer programSupport student attendance and The Nation student fan groupOther administrative tasks as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for MarketingAll duties and responsibilities must be completed in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degreeWillingness to learnExceptional customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsPassion for sports and marketingAbility to multi-task and work under pressureTeam-oriented and must be willing to work irregular hours Preferred Qualifications: Sports marketing experience at either the professional or collegiate levelExperience using Adobe PhotoshopSocial Media Management Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Candidate must be willing to work holidays, weekends, and evening hours.
