An ERP/BI Team is leading this global transformation. To support the design, development and implementation of the MS Power BI system and organically grow the support organization, Dedalus is seeking a BI Platform analyst to design and maintain Power BI data analytics platform, liaise with internal customers, as well as support activities, ensuring timely delivery of quality functional and technical support services to the end users for requests, incidents and problems logged in the ITSM tool.The primary platform for delivery is Microsoft Power BI.Responsibilities:SystemDesign, build and maintain the technical infrastructure and components of our BI/Azure data platformPerform system analysis, taking ownership of maintenance and error handling of deployed solutionsMonitor, recommend and improve data governance, including data modeling and data securityIdentify required data integration as well as ensure data quality and accuracySupportAdvise and instruct the customer on the best use of Power BI reports to suit their business requirementsWork closely with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to solve real business problemsProvide end-user support for BI-related support tickets and triage cases for escalation to 3rd party service providerReportingAnalyze business requirements and translate into technical requirementsDevelop visual reports and KPIs in Power BIDevelop and update technical design specifications as well as produce appropriate documentation to a high standard according to project methodology and phaseMinimum Requirements - Qualifications:3 years of experience as a BI Platform Analyst, Solutions or Technical Consultant of Power PlatformStrong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and related services (including Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics and Analis Services)A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience of Power BI system development as well as report creationExperience reviewing business needs, researching potential solutions and providing solid process and technical recommendationsExcellent understanding of BI systems and how they are employed in business useGood awareness of the technical components of an BI environment and how they integrateIt is beneficial to your application that you may have:Experience with Power BI DAX programming languageKnowledge of D365 Finance and Operations (F&O), D365 CRM, ServiceNow and/or HR (Workday)Experience in internal helpdeskMinimum Requirements – Personal skillsA professional attitude in all communications with customers and team membersExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to communicate technical aspects to non-technical shareholdersStrong customer relationship skills (The ability to obtain stakeholder buy-in and engage participants at all levels involved in discussions)Ability to manage workload and time according to the tasks and deadlines setAbility to manage escalations with all involved partiesSelf-motivation and be driven to achieve professional success and be able to empower other members of the team to do the sameDemonstrated problem solving, attention to detail and critical thinking skillsDesired Certifications:Microsoft Power BI/Azure experience (certification is a plus)Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Applications), Engineering, Math, Science, Technology, or related fieldAdditional Information:Ability to travel to client locations, as requiredStrong communication skills, fluent English, spoken and written is essential.
