Terna is looking for a BIM Specialist to join the Engineering and Plant Building Policy team at its Palermo office. Main activities: Development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategies, analysis and optimisation of processes Preparation of documents for information management and specifications in BIM context Preparation and updating of procedures and policies for planning and construction Digitalisation of planning and construction: analysis of planning and construction processes and use of data-analysis tools to identify opportunities for improvement through digitalisation and BIM Identification and use of new tools in the context of BIM and processes for planning and construction: definition of requirements, information documents, tests and pilot projects Coordination and support for the development of BIM projects. Necessary requirements: Specialist degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or similar Knowledge of planning and construction processes in the context of infrastructure and industrial systems Experience in the BIM and/or digital twin fields with consulting businesses, companies or engineering firms Experience in the implementation and/or application of BIM processes and tools in the field of infrastructure and industrial systems Experience in the development of digital models supporting the lifecycle of assets Basic knowledge of software/systems for BIM and planning and construction (Authoring, Common Data Environment, Site Management and Project Management).
