Every day.Our driving force is to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet.The IT Department is looking for a Business Intelligence analyst (Regular contract, full time) mainly based in our Monza site.He/she will be responsible of the Business Intelligence solution for all the Desmet countries worldwide.Management Level: Individual contributorReporting to IT Application Manager for the Desmet division of Alfa Laval, based in MonzaWho you areWe are looking for a person withFlexible, disposition towards collaboration, teamwork and proactive approach.Problem solving skills, effectiveness, autonomyCommunication and relationship skills at all company levels, autonomy, and passion to work on both technical and user relations side.What about the jobThe candidate willManage, maintain, and develop the Desmet BI solution based on PowerBI and Azure data warehouse/data lakeFollow the development of the new BI reporting but also will continue the developments and maintenance of the existing reporting system, with a high level of autonomyFollow specific projects in the different Desmet business areas (Finance, Supply chain, Sales) and potentially other future projects within the AlfaLaval group.In more details, he/she will:Manage and constantly Innovate the BI architecture (PowerBI, analytics, connectors, Azure data warehouse and data lake, Power automate)Identify the business needs in terms of data analysis and identify the best functional and technological solutions to be implementedManage and improve the analysis of Desmet data, increasing the availability of reports and usability of information across systemsCollaborate on managing and improving data flows between systemsCoordinate the external consultant when neededBe the point of reference for all issues related to Business IntelligenceWhat you knowThe person we are looking for has ideally:Experience in the role of at least 5 years in multinational companies or as consultantSpecialized in Microsoft BI solutions (Power BI, SQL, Azure, Powerautomate etc.)Knowledge of Tagetik, Dynamics AX/D365 is appreciated but not essentialFluent EnglishAvailability for short trips to other Group offices abroad.About Us With the purpose of accelerating success for our customer, people and planet, Alfa Laval has developed products since 1883.
