Ca' Foscari is looking for a researcher of Italian literature capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world. A scientific commitment in the field of the history of Italian literature, understood in its entire chronological span, is required. The researcher's study activity must focus on the specific fields of the academic discipline, i.e. the various literary forms and genres, research methodologies, the history of Italian literary criticism, Italian theatre literature, the transmission of knowledge and its reception, disciplinary teaching methodologies and techniques, relations with other literatures, with tradition and with the present day, the history of the discipline, and the edition and analysis of texts. The researcher must also possess skills philological, critical-hermeneutic, historical, linguistic-stylistic, comparative, interdisciplinary and digital skills The researcher will be involved for 90 hours of curricular and supplementary teaching in Bachelor degrees, Master degrees, Ph.D., as well as tutoring. In particular, the researcher will teach in the following courses - Letteratura italiana 1 in the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Performing Arts Management; - Letteratura italiana in the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa. The position will be hosted at the Department of Humanities , a center for the development of innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to history, literature, classics, archeology, art and anthropology. In the Department of Humanities, Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellows and ERC awardees work together with the permanent faculty, creating a vibrant academic environment.
