It develops, manufactures, and sells its products all over the world, with 90% of exports to over 50 countries.A global and dynamic company, it is based in Valle d'Aosta but has a constant projection towards the world.It is starting an important growth plan and is looking for ambitious and motivated resources.Role DescriptionGrivel is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the CEO in leading and executing the financial operations of the company. The CFO will play a critical role in supporting Grivel's ambitious growth objectives while ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency. This hands-on role requires not only overseeing the company's financial activities but also contributing to broader strategic decisions.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to deliver ambitious revenue and profit growth targets, participating actively in strategic planning and decision-making.Build, manage, and scale the finance infrastructure (including software, processes, and controls) and team necessary to support a growing business, with potential automations whenever possible.Transition the accounting function from an external firm to an in-house operation, evaluating and implementing robust internal controls and compliance with GAAP.Prepare board presentations, investor communications and financial performance updates (e.g. monthly/weekly reporting).Conduct periodic (quarterly/monthly) and annual financial closing processes of P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow statements.Develop comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to support business objectives and operational needs.Manage cash flow and working capital, assessing and implementing appropriate financing solutions such as asset-based lending (ABL), factoring, and reverse factoring.Conduct regular treasury reviews, with a focus on effective currency management and risk mitigation.Oversee the human resource function including compensation, legal, performance reviews, as well as employee training and development.Skills & QualificationsExcellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Italian.A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive finance and accounting experience.Expertise in utilizing modern software tools and implementing automation solutions for accounting, AP/AR management, cash flow management, and invoicing.Ability to create dashboards and periodic reports from scratch.Firsthand understanding of the functions adjacent to the CFO, and ability to execute them in a lean organization without many supporting roles.Excellent financial oversight skills and experience managing accounting, tax, budgeting, control and reporting workstreams.Outdoor Industry and/or Ecommerce/Retail experience is preferred in order to track the correct KPIs from day one.A university degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting (Chartered Accountant highly desirable).OtherPlace: The ideal candidate would be based either in the Aosta Valley or Milan.Employment type: Full-timeStarting Date: ASAPLivello di anzianità Executive#J-18808-Ljbffr
