Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Lead and manage team of low-risk, early to mid-stage collections team members focused on outbound and inbound contact with customers of auto loan portfolioEnsure team objectives are achievedAdminister corrective action where necessary, following labor laws and regulations and in accordance with company policyHandle escalated customer loan issues and provide guidance on resolution of escalated mattersProvide training to new hire staff ensuring appropriate knowledge of systems and adherence to company procedures and policiesUpdate and maintain reference documents to reflect current systems and company proceduresCollaborate with other internal departments to ensure efficient handling of escalated situationsSupport management directives and initiatives as requestedRequirements & Experience:2+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on auto loan management or a call center environmentBilingual, fluent in Spanish or Portuguese and English, preferredPrior team management experience in auto loan portfolio collectionsPrevious experience working in collections required, preferably consumer loans/debtFamiliarity with consumer debt collection regulatory compliance requirements preferredThe Ideal Candidate:A team player - You readily help others and are comfortable asking for help for yourselfThrive in a teaching role, transferring knowledge to position others for successExcited by the idea of constant change - You are comfortable being uncomfortableComfortable holding team members accountable for performance resultsAble to maintain order in a fast and fascinating environmentExcited to take on new tasks as they come up and solve problems in real timeEnjoy finding creative solutions to unique problems as they ariseWe believe: Diversityis a competitive advantage.We celebrate our differences, and are better when we have a variety of experiences, viewpoints, and backgrounds.
