The Commodity Sourcing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of commoditystrategies and supplier management in assigned spend categories. He performs sourcing activities for a setportfolio of spend categories at a global and/or local level to achieve commodity results and ensure compliancewith the Group Strategy.Your Mission Lead, develop and implement global commodity strategy for assigned spend categoriesAnalyze spend in assigned spend categoriesMonitor the market through constant benchmarking in order to continuously improve costs, quality, deliveryand technologyHelp to define the annual savings forecast, identifying risks and opportunitiesImplement the saving action plan to achieve the assigned annual cost saving targetPromote and lead cost reduction activities and alternative products/ solutions, towards internal stakeholderand Suppliers,Manage Supplier Relationship at global level, monitoring trend of KPIs and setting necessary correctiveactionsNegotiate long-term contracts with Suppliers, at global level, that set out prices, quality standards, costreductionimprovement along agreement duration, delivery times, and commercial terms and conditionsCommunicate effectively and manage relationships with relevant internal stakeholders, to contribute to thecross-functional projectsEnsure compliance with the sourcing processesEnter relevant sourcing data in SAP for new product codes and pricelist updatesYour Profile Master Degree or equivalentDegree in Engineering is preferred; Business/Economics is also acceptedEnglish - Fluency in French, Italian and/or Chinese is an advantageRequired experience and skills:Min 3 years in strategic sourcing in an international manufacturing companyKnowledge of the Transmission market/product categories is a plusExperience in manufacturing environment or sales is a plusExperience in international negotiations, contract and claim managementExperience outside of own country of origin is a plusVery good negotiation skills as key element in order to communicate with both suppliers andother stakeholders#J-18808-Ljbffr
