This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division.Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Configuration Management & Product Support Engineer Specialist in Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy.Position Responsibilities:Collaborate to the elaboration of the Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker FleetParticipate to the routine coordination meeting with the engineering to review Service Bulletin, ADand PTA applicable to the FleetSupport the planning of the Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan for the Italy Tanker FleetIn collaboration with the Configuration management group, review the Maintenance Plan Document to update the Fleet Maintenance PlanElaborate Vectors to communicate technical inquiry to Italy TankerFleet Support Engineering or Logistic EngineeringUtilize disciplined technical expertise & company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve & sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the KC-767A by investigating product reliability, determine root cause analysis by developing, coordinating and recommending appropriate corrective actionsSupport the Ground Support Equipment Maintenance plan in coordination with the Subcontractor TeamIdentify and originate procurement request to maintain the GSE EquipmentSupport the Tooling Calibration process and assist during the acceptance of the tools after the calibration.Assist the customer in interpreting and using the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), interpreting servicing and maintenance support proceduresAct as the on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and the on-site Boeing PDM Configuration Management.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.This position requires working on flexible hours.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):A minimum of 10-years experience on supporting Maintenance for Boeing ModelsExperience in reading and interpreting engineering and maintenance technical information (REDARS is a plus).Understanding of Maintenance Plan Document, Aircraft Service Bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives' and Service letters.Work effectively and cooperatively with the team, managers, and members of others work groups; establish and maintain good working relationships.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Fluency in English both written and spoken.Must be willing to work flexible hours as the job requires.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Willing to get qualified for tank entry.Familiar with aircraft AMM, IPC and MTC. Boeing 767.Familiarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request systems (BCS, Vector).Experience with the KC-767 Tanker.Belonging to "Categorie Protette" L.68/99 art.1.The successful candidate shall be a self-starter, highly motivated with excellent communication skills.Relocation:This position does not offer relocation.
