Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of AHV in your assigned country/region by developing and implementing effective strategies and action plans.As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing a team, setting and achieving sales targets, and ensuring the overall success of AHV in your assigned country/region.We are ushering in a new era of animal health. Are you with us?ResponsibilitiesYou are responsible for the sales of our products in the region of Netherlands and manage the sales and the existing field sales team (professional, disciplinary)Work alongside the operations manager to ensure the successful running of the countryResponsible for identifying training requirements and actioning development (individual) plans within the Sales Consultants in your own sales regionYou are responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts and initiating measures in case of deviations and actively observe the marketYou represent the company in the market and at trade fairs and you are also responsible for project management of strategically important development projectsResponsible for holding the Sales Consultants accountable to the success of their individual areasYou will support the HR team in the selection of personnel and maintain a close exchange with our Managing DirectorResponsible for organising, creating, and conducting presentations for monthly sales meetingsCompiling and analysing sales figures / reports / forecasts to be reported to the Managing Director when requiredBe a champion for our business values, brands, and policies both internally and externallySchedule and conduct Monthly Check- Ins and Quarterly Reviews with individual Sales Consultants and report back to the Managing Director and HR as requiredSupport the organisation's Executive Committee in implementing and maintaining policies and proceduresSupport to the Commercial Director & HR in the Company's People Management strategyAssist in other areas of the business where requiredThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.RequirementsIDEAL CRITERIA:With your open and curious nature, you are enthusiastic about innovative products and our new approach to animal health solutionsEntrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to capitalise on opportunitiesA strong desire to support Sales Consultants on farm with their dairy farming customersCompetence to lead a teamAbility to operate and flourish in a fast-growing, target-driven environmentYou have a degree in agriculture and have several years of working experience (at least 4 years) in a similar position - Study with corresponding degreeYou have sound knowledge in the field of animal health for dairy cattle and also have commercial knowledgeStrong commercial awareness, understanding of different sales techniques and pipeline managementYou have strong communication and presentation skills and experience in agricultureExcellent prioritisation, time management and organisational skillsExcellent analytical, Forecasting, Problem Solving and Cost Management skillsStrong ability to demonstrate resilience, sometimes in the face of uncertainty or challengeCompetent knowledge of MS Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)Very good Dutch and English skills complete your profileExcellent presentation skills (one to one and group)You have a class B driving licence and a certain willingness to travel (day trips)BenefitsOUR OFFER:AHV (Animal Health Vision) is a fast-growing company, based in The Netherlands, that offers farmers an proactive and preventative health solutions.
