About the Role As Harmony Energy expands into the vibrant market of Italy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead our operations and drive growth in this new territory. By means of instigating in-house greenfield development, managing strategic local partnerships and through close and continuous collaboration with Harmony Energy Italy's management and specialised development and engineering teams, primarily based in France and the UK, the Country Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing, managing and growing our presence in Italy.
Key Responsibilities Execute a comprehensive business strategy to establish Harmony Energy as a key player in the Italian battery energy storage and renewable energy market. Lead and manage all aspects of operations in Italy, including business functions, budget management, project development, and partner relations. Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and local communities. Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company goals, objectives, and standards. Drive business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities for growth and expansion. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Degree educated with significant relevant experience: Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Proven track record of success in a senior role within the renewable energy industry: developer, contractor or consultancy. Extensive knowledge of the Italian energy market, regulations, and business environment. Direct experience in the Italian battery energy storage market would be a positive but not essential. Strong business expertise with a strategic mindset and demonstrated ability to drive results. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently whilst thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively leading cross-functional teams and business matters. Fluency in Italian is a must as well as a good level of written and spoken English and/or French. Package and Benefits Competitive salary and bonus package.
