Design Services Expert - Senior Engineering Geologist

He/she will participate in the preparation of bids and will provide support to the Group projects, from the company headquarters in Milan and through short/medium assignments on-site. Main responsibilities: Reviewing design reports and drawings for our "Design & Build" projects Planning, supervising and interpreting ground investigations Analyzing excavations, foundations, retaining structures, tunnels and other underground works Site visits and supervision of construction works Writing reports Requirements: Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology >10 years of professional experience in the fields of engineering geology and rock engineering, in particular: planning, supervision and interpretation of ground investigations, including laboratory testing and geophysical surveys design of excavations in rock and their stabilisation measures familiarity with rock engineering software (e.g. Rocdata, DIPS, Unwedge) field experience in structural geological mapping and the use of rock mass classification systems geological assessments and preparation of geological mapping and hydrogeological report supervision of field activities and coordination with subcontractors and designers Previous field experience in Tunnelling or underground works will be considered a plus Fluency in spoken and written English Availability to relocate in Italy and abroad Ability to adapt to different working conditions, team working, problem solving Webuild is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
