Margaret Howell is a contemporary British clothing designer who has worked successfully in men's and women's clothing for over five decades. Today, Margaret Howell clothes are sold worldwide with 12 of our own shops in Europe, over 100 outlets in Japan and an established online business.We are now looking for a Development and Production Administrator to join our Florence team. The purpose of the role is to support the production department in delivering the seasonal collection, made in Italy, from development through to bulk. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support across all product areas and lines, so that critical path deadlines and company targets are met.Location:Florence, ItalyResponsibilities:- Assist the Production and Quality Control Lead during bulk QC inspection at Italian Manufacturers and post visit by compiling and translating the final reports.- Assist the London Development Team in delivering seasonal Made in Italy collection, following development of styles to communicate on queries to suppliers and update internal departments on status. - Raise purchase orders on SAP for Made in Italy bulk orders against approved Merchandising Range Plans.- Raise NCIs for all relevant DHL shipments, communicating tracking and packing list information directly to the internal team.- Set up care labels and disclaimer tickets for all styles, in line with the critical path.- Assist in creating packing lists, for bulk production and when necessary, throughout the season. Raising NCI invoices for customs purposes - Monitor when bulk styles ship for Made in Italy suppliers, and mark as in transit on Pos, checking PO confirmation are accurate, chase bulk shipping documents and share with internal warehouse team.- To maintain accurate records on SAP, close PO's and Open GRNI ensuring the efficient running of the system.- Other tasks as required, in assistance to the Development and Production team, to ensure business needs are met.Role Requirements:- Degree or training/experience in fashion (manufacturing, quality control compliance, procurement cycles).- Fluent in English and Italian.- Excellent organisation, administration, and communication (written and verbal) skills.- Proven ability to work efficiently on different tasks with competing deadlines.- Demonstrable ability to work quickly and accurately.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Proactive and a 'can do' attitude. - Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Excel.
