We expect this growth to continue as new products will come to the market over next few years.As the Country Commercial Finance Lead, you will oversee all aspects of the finance function within the country with a focus on optimizing business results and you are part of the country Leadership Team. You will be the key owner of planning, forecasting and analysis of the country financial performance. You will mainly support country organization in Italy but also one other region in Europe. On a ad-hoc basis you will also support the HQ finance team on all local finance matters (f.e. compliance reporting, AR collection, tax, VAT).The position is based in the Italian office in Milan, strong line reporting to Head of EU Finance based in Morges, Switzerland and dotted line reporting to the General Manager Italy.The position is a contractor, 12 months period. Duties and Responsibilities Partner with country leadership team to drive the annual budget and forecasting processCollaborate with Business units & Brand teams on P&L management and brand investments.Provide in-depth variance analysis, trend analysis and benchmark analysis.Manage all local management reports and provide insights to the financial performance.Preparing business cases to support new investments and business decisions.Review and analyze actual spend and support local business on proper monthly accruals.Drive efficiencies through continuous review and improvement of existing processes.Support HQ Finance team for any local finance activities like statutory reporting, financial audit, VAT and Treasury.Member of the country leadership team, you contribute to the overall evolution of the organization.Manage local transparency reporting process.Maintaining the business's integrity in the industry by ensuring compliance with regulatory legislation and policies.Final validation of the employee travel expenses in compliance with the company regulations.Support HQ Finance team to collect accounts receivables as soon as possible. This will involve meeting with customers and negotiating payment schedules.Drive the request of bank and insurance guarantee process due for the tenders.Participate to the MEA Team managing requests of reimbursement due by the payment by result about our actual and future products.Requirements Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field.10+ years of Finance-related experience; Pharma/Life Science/Biotech experience is a requirement.Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.Advanced analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools.
