This role is based at the Syracuse, NY site.The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:Position Overview:This role's primary goals are to increase transactional productivity using digital solutions, partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points, troubleshoot complex planning issues, standardize, and propose long term solutions. In addition, this role will execute all duties related to buying for specified product families and develop procedures, selecting alternative methods where appropriate, to achieve service and investment goals.Job Responsibilities Include:Expand the use of EDI for both inbound and outbound purchasing activities.Trouble-shoot and improve the current ASN (Advance Ship Notification) process for receiving.Continually evaluate and report on the performance of suppliers.Assess and improve material master data to maximize system performance in alignment with best practice.Monitor inter-plant demand (processing of orders and system requirements).Support Inventory DOH and investment goals using digital tools and standard practices.Manage KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes including creation of recurring reports to drive improvements for the operations network.Develop relationships across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented.Ensure solutions are scalable, highly performant, and aligned with processes across Eaton where applicable.Define and own processes related to Demand Planning for Eaton. Ensures process quality by gradually increasing maturity and governance and leading a robust continuous improvement effort.Partner with Materials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory, IT, and Master Data Management teams across the enterprise.Assess trends, validate data, and provide feedback to stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement & ability to accurately forecast production output as well as operational and financial outcomes.Undertake sourcing and selection processes in line with Eaton policies.Undertake supplier relationship management tasks for a given supply base. i.E., business reviews, tactical improvement initiatives, supplier development etc.Review MRP requirements to ensure component deliveries are scheduled in line with customer requirements.Apply SRM principles to build and manage effective supplier management processes and strong supplier relationships and partnerships.Manage day to day procurement activities including internal/vendor communications, schedule, delivery, and commercial terms including any price variation.Deploy responsible supply chain management practices aligned with company policy including risk registers, heat maps and any required corrective actionsLeverage and become SME on Eaton procurement toolbox - Eaton Standard Sourcing Process, GPS 2.0, Should Cost, Total Cost of Ownership, Contract Lifecycle Management, Resilinc, Global Trade Management, Supplier Quality and Supplier Diversity.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum five (5) years' experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or related fieldElectronic Data Interchange (EDI) experienceSAP experience including Purchasing modulesMinimum two (2) years' experience in Excel, Power BI or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, pivot tables etc.)Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the futureNo relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the Syracuse, NY site to be considered.
