Position Summary
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Essential responsibilities and activities include, but are not limited to: Leading teams on small moderately complex installation projectsConducting and documenting daily tool box talksInstalling all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packagesProgramming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systemsTroubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global levelProviding on-site software commissioning and testingPerforming inspections, evaluations, and inventoryPosition / Candidate Requirements Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; DoD Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance minimum requiredRequires a Valid driver's licenseThis position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policyEducation:HS diploma or GEDMilitary Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) orGraduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program orGraduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program orAn additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activitiesRequired Progressive Experience:10+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systemsStrong Oral, Written and Presentation SkillsDemonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectivesStrong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plusDesired / Advantageous Qualifications Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systemsIdentiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Aiphone Intercom Systems AIphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systemsLenel, Milestone certifications, Southwest Microwave, IntelliflexAbilities: Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of timeRelocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistanceWorks at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of laddersWalks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basisPossess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in EnglishMay use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying toolsTell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
