The unit is responsible of the design, development and qualification/certification activities related to the Display Systems (Cockpit Display Systems, Helmet Mounted Display, Control Display Unit) of Leonardo Helicopters programs (both civil and military), specifically for the SubSystems with internal development of the software application in charge of the Human Machine Interface.Sub-System Engineers interface Avionics System Engineer functional areas for all the aspects pertaining the integration of the display system and its application in the helicopter avionic system, and collaborate with Avionics System Engineer and HMI Simulation area for the definition of Leonardo Helicopter HMI.
