He/She will support the main following activities:
• Support the analysis of technical requirements, definition of aircraft configuration changes and description of new kits / solutions.
• Preparation of specific aircraft configuration and/or aircraft architecture for Request For Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
• Co-ordination of the RFI/RFP technical proposals.
• Concur to Engineering Proposals and Technical documentation to support the RFI/RFP responses.
• Support the management of the requirements & configurations within the RA database.
• Support the preparation of the Engineering Proposal (EP) and other bid technical materials based on inputs from RA manager, Platform Chief Project Engineer's and Business team to ensure that new solutions are properly described, the costs are properly accounted for and the risk/schedule transferred to the relevant stakeholders (e.g. Programs / Sales / Budget & Planning functions) in the required format.
• Identification of key risks and dependencies for RFI/RFP responses.
• Support the correct archive of Bids and Vendors material within the RA database.
• Organization and management of the RA database.
The Role requires:
• A minimum 3 years degree in Electronic/Electric/Aeronautic or equivalent in a relevant technical subject;
• At least 2 years' experience in a relevant aerospace role;
• Knowledge of MS Office, Visio and (preferably) DOORS;
• Ability to interface and coordinate with specialists within Engineering Dept. and manage information from a broad team of engineers;
• Some experience in supporting the commercial teams to produce documentation towards customers (nice to have);
• Some experience in supporting the procurement teams to produce documentation towards suppliers (nice to have);
• Propensity to work in cross-functional and cross-geographical team environments;
• Availability for short national/international/intercontinental business trips;
• Fluent in written/spoken English;
