The Engagement Specialist is an integral part of our customer support team, working directly with our members. This role ensures thehighest level of customer satisfaction throughtimely, empathetic communication and delivery of accurate solutions.
ResponsibilitiesConsistently hit quarterly Big 3 goals while embodying our CARE values.Deliver stellar customer service to all Consumer Driven Healthcare (CDH) members and plan participantsInteract directly with members through our ticketing solution to answer all inquiries in a timely mannerResponsible for providing professional and empathetic phone supportReview, evaluate, adjust and process claims received from employees and various insurance companies including FSA, HRA, and qualified commuter benefitsConsistently meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for claim processing accuracy and volume, and for call qualityIdentify issues or inefficiencies and follow escalation path for resolutionResponsible for timely and effective member support, problem resolution and pro-active follow-upRequirements1-3 years' experience as a claims adjuster, customer service, phone support or similar fieldStrongly preferred: experience working with AlegeusFamiliar with standard insurance concepts, practices, and procedures such as medical insurance, FSA, HSA, and COBRADemonstrated understanding of how to deliver high-quality customer serviceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to understand how to utilize technology and phone systemsAbility to identify and provide solutions for client needsQuick learner and detailed orientedStrong communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communicationCustomer-centric with a strong desire to help people; highly empatheticTakes initiative to uncover/develop solutions prior to escalating issuesAbility to take on new projects and easily transition between tasksTeam player who is receptive to coaching and adaptive to changeDesire to excel and grow each dayAbility to work in a remote environmentAdditional InformationSalary Offered $40,000-$45,000/annually
