Engineer - Industrial Decarbonisation

Adecco Italia researches, for a Leader Company of sustainable performance, a Engineer – Industrial Decarbonisation.


The figure will join the Decarbonisation & Energy Transition team based in Italy collaborating daily with teams both nationally, in Europe and in North America. He/She will have the opportunity to own market-leading projects supporting investors in the decarbonisation of the asset portfolio while delivering strategic technical due diligence services for construction and acquisition of low carbon assets, as well as owner's engineer services during the implementation phase.


Key Responsibilities


• Undertakes engineering design and development, at different stages of the project;
• Development and/or implementation of models for analysing and forecasting: the emissions reduction potential and cost implications of different decarbonization options and technologies; energy data, including energy consumption / demand / tariff analyses, Interval data analysis;
• Conduct non-intrusive site energy audits to identify measures for savings such as lighting, HVAC, metering, fabric ecc.
• Critical assessment of other consultants and contractors design and proposals
• Profitably manages small projects or project subtasks on time and to budget, to client or Project Manager satisfaction with limited oversight; manages own time to deliver agreed-to tasks / outcomes to project managers within the agreed time and budget, and to a high quality.
• Identifies new or follow-on opportunities from existing projects; supports client manager with proposal writing; contributes to/ participates in client reviews/meetings/discussions.


Requirements


• Degree in Engineering subject or equivalent
• 3-5 years' experience as Engineer Industrial Decarbonisation: to lead low carbon project and analyses of decarbonization pathways for international industrial clients.
• Previous background or exposure to the industrial sector or the anaerobic digestion sector will be preferred.
• Occasional flexibility around hours of working due to business trip to our clients based in Italy and abroad.


Place of work: Full remote - availability for monthly trips to Milan, according to company instructions
