Who are we looking for We are looking for an Engineering TechLeader. You will have the opportunity to lead the team that takes care of the millions of Data points inside our platform for creating insights and advanced reports to inform our customers to make smarter decisions regarding their logistic needs.
What you will do Oversee a combined team of engineers, both frontend and backend. Ensure the timely delivery of projects and reports, managing resources and priorities effectively. Give regular and clear feedback around the individual's performance. Help the team grow their skills and expertise. Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, security, and scalability. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance our data products and insights. Serve as a technical expert in data analytics and reporting, providing guidance and support to the team and stakeholders. Recognize impediments to our efficiency as a team ("technical debt"), propose and implement solutions. As an Engineering Leader you'll be required to be on-call rotation. What you will bring to the table: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a software development role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Strong background in data engineering, analytics, and product develop Good knowledge of PHP, NodeJS, and React. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of scalable architectures. Proven track record of leading and delivering complex data-driven projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB ) and web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx) About the hiring process: We don't just interview candidates, we interview people.

What we can offer Remote working options. We are happy to welcome every new member into our office in Florence, however we are also a modern and agile company, and are open to our team mates needs. We'd love for our new Engineering Team Leader to attend the office at least a few days a month during team's catch-ups.
No clocking in/out. We don't believe in micromanaging and our working relationships are based on mutual trust, that's why we don't require our team to clock in and out of work. Of course, this trust relationship works both ways!
