Job Description SummaryThe job position refers to role of EU Program NTI (New Technology Initiatives) Lead Program Operation.The role objective will be to lead the Engineering Program Operation for Future of Flight programs, in the field of Sustainable Aviation Fuels and enhanced propulsion, in close relationship with the reference System Leaders; in particular:• demonstration plan monitoring (schedule & cost)• budgeting process, forecast periodic update and monitoring of actuals• Line of Balance processes implementation and execution for hardware supply• implementation and optimization of processes and procedures• support to the reference External Funding Manager in cost/documentation reportingJob DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesThe EU Program –Lead Program Operation will be responsible for the:support the System Leader in monitoring/update the demo plan and related actionsimplementation of the demonstration plan (schedule & cost) in the internal planning systemimplementation and execution of Line of Balance to control the hardware delivery (make and buy)coordination of the purchase processes (SoW, request for quotation, RdA, VUL, SAL), ensuring compliance with Avio Aero and GE Aerospace processes while guaranteeing proper documentation storage to secure grants from External Funding initiativesadoption of KPIs to monitor performance, identify recovery actions and set up a tracking rhythmpromotion of lean initiatives to improve tools and processesinteraction with the Engineering Operation sub-sectionThe role will be mainly focused on:Sustainable Aviation Fuels demo (eg. Clean Aviation HYDEA project)Enhanced Propulsion (eg. European Defence Fund NEUMANN project)Qualifications/RequirementsMaster's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace or Management preferred)Experience in and engineering or program manager positionSignificant experience in complex NPI or NTI programsAbility to work successfully in team environment and to build relationship with customersFamiliarity with Lean toolsFluency in English and ItalianWork VISA, according to local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsSolid organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and efficientlyOpen-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas.
