Interns will gain valuable experience as they assist with the coordination and execution of UCC events and have direct exposure to employers recruiting at Villanova. Events may be in person or virtual.
Responsibilities: Assist in event management of any kind including, but not limited to:Set up event according to Career Center guidelines (this may involve picking materials up from Career Center and helping guests set up in room technology)Greet employers, presenters, guests of the UCC Check-in employer and student attendeesOccasional introduction of employers/guests at the start of the eventCollect the contact details of the presenters and deliver back to the Career CenterRemain for the duration of the event to troubleshoot and facilitate Q&A (as needed)Clean up after the event (this may involve returning materials to the Career Center and helping dispose of leftover catering)Schedule time to meet with Career Center office staff prior to an event to discuss details Requirements: Solid written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAttention to detailFlexibility and the ability to troubleshootThis position requires a commitment to work evenings with occasional afternoon hours as needed Additional Information: Physical Demands Summary: This job requires lifting or carrying general equipment or supplies (up to 25 pounds) to and from events.
