Field Installation Project Engineer

Job Purpose: The FPE is responsible to perform the service activities on the field (pre-installation/tender site inspections, installations, maintenance, FSCAs) in agreement with the customer requirements. The main focus is the Installation of Fixed equipment. Key duties and responsibilities: Service & Installation activities: Average time: 85% Perform the Installation and eventually service activities on customer sites/in-house: in agreement with the customer requirements (project timeline, on demand, preventive maintenance program) according to projects activities, the front office service order dispatching and the service manuals/periodic service bulleting. Service reports and technical documents (such check lists, safety electrical tests) completion and delivery to the customer. Spare parts management (stock and re-assortment) in order to ensure the adequate quantity and type of material according the assigned product and customer needs. Reports to HQ and RaQa of technical non conformities using the specific tools. Keeps the valid certification on assigned products. Responsible for instruments and tools in order to follow the company calibration plan. Eventual after sales support/training to the customer. Customer contacts management: Average time: 15% Attend metting on site with customer and partners involved in the project. Contact the customers after the dispatching from front office in order to: Pre-clarify the technical issue problem. Define the scheduling for the visit. Knowledge/Skills/Experience: Key competences/skills and personal qualities: Product technical knowledge. Technical problem solving attitude. Priority setting capability and organizational skills. Customers centricity approach. Good interpersonal relationship attitude. Communicational skills. Team Oriented. Experiences: previous experience on technical field activities or in similar roles (at least 3-5years), with preference for previous role in complex installation (fixed equipment and third parts supplier).
