col-wideJob Description:?Our client a leading player in the Renewable space is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join their team.As a Financial Planning Analyst in the renewable energy sector, your primary responsibility will be supporting financial planning and analysis functions. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing financial models, analysing data, and providing strategic insights to assist in decision-making processes related to renewable energy projects. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for contributing to sustainable and environmentally friendly initiatives.The role:DCF and Project Finance Modelling, in addition to looking at the P&LUpdating Forecasts, and continuously improving financial models and analysis processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Monitor actual financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Identify financial risks associated with renewable energy projects and propose risk mitigation strategies.Provide support in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and making strategic recommendations.Monitor and assess the impact of market dynamics, regulatory changes, and other external factors on financial performance.In addition, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and sustainability experts, to gather information and ensure alignment between financial goals and project objectives.Lastly, staying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector.The individual:Strong Modeller1-4yrs of experienceProven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the renewable energy or energy sector.Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and presentation skills.Knowledge of renewable energy project finance, tax incentives, and regulatory considerations.Familiarity with sustainability metrics and reporting standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.?This Financial Planning Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of environmentally sustainable projects and play a vital role in advancing the organization's commitment to renewable energy.?
