Ca' Foscari is looking for a Full Professor of Economics c apable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.  The teaching load complies with the relevant national and the Ca' Foscari University of Venice regulations. Courses are expected to be taught in the area of microeconomics and macroeconomics, at the BA, MA, and, possibly, at the PhD level. The research activity will be part of the broad area of microeconomics and macroeconomics relying on inductive, deductive, static or dynamic methods. In this area, the scientific activity is expected to contribute to enhance the understanding of the themes at the core of the "Venice Initiative on Vulnerability Analysis" (VIVA) project, funded within the "Dipartimenti di Eccellenza 2023-2027" program. The project aims at providing a rigorous analysis of the emerging vulnerabilities as well as contributing to devise public policies to respond to the increasing needs for protection. More information on https://www.unive.it/pag/33805/ .  The position will be in the Department of Economics , a centre that carries out innovative research in fields such as economics, finance, statistics and mathematics, covering all the legal, social, international, and environmental aspects of these disciplines.  The Department has recently received a "Department of Excellence" Award by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. The Excellence Award has allowed the department to receive additional state funding to develop innovative projects on Economic and Risk Analytics for public policies. The Department offers Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes taught entirely in English.
