DescriptionThe Sportsbook Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Sportsbook including approving or denying wagers, scheduling staff and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises all Sportsbook Attendants to ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.Provides a high level of guest service by greeting all guests individually with a positive attitude and cheerful demeanor.Answers all guests' questions and inputs their personal information into the database if applicable.Monitors all monies being wagered.Explains wagering rules, including betting lines, odds and procedures to guests.Monitors performance, conducts basic maintenance and oversees customer experience on kiosks.Notifies management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity.Maintains Title 31 recordkeeping requirements.Must be knowledgeable on all Sportsbook related events and daily activities.Complies with all applicable internal controls and reporting requirements.Provides resolutions to any guest complaints.Helps maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordinate with all departments, including needed property or service concerns.Ensures that fellow team members will adhere to and deliver superior guest services striving to exceed our internal and external guest expectations.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. Your commitment will help us meet our Purpose.EVERY DAY, WE DELIVER UNCOMMONLY KIND EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT PEOPLE TO THE COAST.RequirementsEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITYMinimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Must have 1-year combined experience in a sportsbook/casino venue or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with Sportsbook technology systems and betting terminals preferred.General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.Must participate in Title 31 training one time per year.Must demonstrate proactive, spontaneous, "above and beyond" approach to guest service.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.#J-18808-Ljbffr
