General Ledger Accounting Specialist page is loaded General Ledger Accounting Specialist Apply locations Milan, IT posted on Posted 30+ Days Ago job requisition id R-15680 We are looking for a General Ledger & Reporting Specialist who will work within the team of General Ledger - Group Administration, within the Corporate AF&C Function.Responsibilities:•Manage selected General Ledger accounting activities to enable local and group accounting and statutory financial requirements to be met.•Support effective internal control maintaining adequate filling of documentation and evidences and full reconciliation of General Ledger accounts balances with legacy or source data (full knowledge of payroll accounting is highly appreciated).•Support timely effective books closing ensuring respect of Group closing calendar.•Support accounting managers and controllers on arising accounting issues or anomalies promptly highlighting them and providing recommendations.•Active participation to projects and initiatives.•Support Tax Department with fiscal regulations by forwarding required information and prepare accurate periodic tax reports due to the Italian regulation.•Manage and process mandatory registers archive (VAT, giornale, inventario, mastro).Desired skills and experience:•Bachelor's or master's degree in Economics•Experience of 2-3 years, ideally in an international industrial group.•Good accounting knowledge (IFRS/Local GAAP)•Strong IT skills: MS Office, SAP (MM, FI, CO).•Proficient in English.
