Job Summary This role is essential for someone with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the area of rotating equipment. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in manufacturing drawings, CNC 5-Axis machining, and CAD/CAM applications to maintain and repair our corporate equipment. Responsibilities: Provide technical support in the manufacturing of spare parts for rotating equipment, including process selection, manufacturing plans, and CAM programming. Offer technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops. Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment, and identify cost reductions and process improvements. Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment. Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs, identifying root causes and corrective actions. Implement the latest technology in manufacturing methodology. Develop and revise departmental technical procedures and standards. Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians. Provide technical input for purchasing specifications, including technical proposal evaluation. Collaborate with department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), and other company departments and manufacturers. Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, and vendors for shop repair work scopes. Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings. Requirements: This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 20 years of experience in the manufacturing field, with specific expertise in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment. Proficiency in CNC 5-Axis machining, and CAD/CAM applications such as NX Siemens and Solidworks. Experience in reverse engineering is highly preferable.
