Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics.Job DescriptionRole Summary/PurposeThe Global Supply Chain Sustainability Leader plays a critical role in achieving GE Vernova's climate targets and aligning the Grid Solutions with these goals. The role is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Sourcing Sustainability roadmap, driving strategic sourcing sustainability initiatives to support the growth strategy of GE Vernova Grid Solutions.The role will have a direct impact by developing and implementing the overall supplier sustainability engagement strategy, with a specific focus on Environmental and Responsible Sourcing. The role will lead cost-effective decarbonization efforts across the supply chain within the Grid Solutions and demonstrate performance improvements, including taking corrective actions for low-scoring sustainability suppliers: focus on Scope 3 upstream improvements, including GHG reporting, suppliers' renewable energy usage, energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainable procurement, to drive continuous advancements in supply chain sustainability.
