Group Financial Controller

Job DescriptionWithin the Group Strategic Planning Monitoring & Control function we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.The position is focused on supporting different activities in the area of reporting, planning and controlling at the Generali Group level, with particular regard to performance monitoring on main financial and business indicators.A frequent interaction with the Group Planning and Control teams focused on controlling Business Units is expected.Main deliverables of the department are produced for the Group CFO, GMC and Board of Directors.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Planning process implementation in particular with regards to budgeting and forecastingMonitoring of key performance indicators, at Group level, focusing on financials, in particular on actual and forecast versus budget and plan figuresReporting and analysis on Group expenses/costs controlling activitiesRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Economic and financial background (either University Economics degree or experience in the financial sector)Strong analytical/numerical skillsPrecision and task orientationGood knowledge of EnglishNice to haveSome experience in planning & control or in other financial sector activitiesTeam workingMotivationFlexibilityCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
